Yes I too usually equate pumpkin with fall and yet we are in spring! However, I found a can of organic pumpkin purée left over in my cabinet as I was pantry spring cleaning. Therefore today’s smoothie was PUMPKIN! Yum! I actually love pumpkin no matter the season. The original recipe (for my finding) was out of the Oh She Glows cookbook. Now though I’ve altered that recipe some just with time and preferences... as we may all do with recipes. A cup of almond milk, medjool dates, chia seeds, filtered water, pumpkin purée, cinnamon, pumpkin spice (because I had it), rolled oats, orgain powder ) for me vegan). It was so delicious! Oh! I added a dash of cardamom and some tumeric too😋
